I buy a lot of recipes books based on quick decision. Peru was one of them. I thought that I didn’t know this cuisine yet so it was a good reason to have one. Many restaurants are making fusion food with Peruvian and other country specialities. I need to try.
My friend Jérôme suggested this book and blog rom Jill so I followed his advise. She is doing amazing macarons and other sweet desserts. I love macarons, I’m still not very good at doing it but it might also be because my flour and almonds powder are not the best quality. So I’m not going to give up on them 🙂
An other series of book called Cuisiner! I have to eat less meat in general so I thought to check some vegetarians recipes book.
Japanese cuisine is not only sushi, so I bought this book to learn other japanese dishes. I like the books from the series Mon cours de cuisine and this one additional one that I added to my collection.
I bought this book when I checked Bea’s instagram and loved the recipes and the amazing cakes. It’s not the cakes I would do for any occasion as some of them are a lot of work maybe but it’s good to have.
I bought this book when I had to prepare a recipe from Chink He Huang chef for the Cooking the chef challenge. I love asian food in general.
This beautiful book from chef Eric Kayser has a lot of very yummy recipes with some very basic and sophisticated recipes. Always a good reference for baking.
Tickets is a very exclusive restaurant in Barcelona that some friends have been and I would really want to try one day. This book holds a few recipes from them, not easy to prepare but it’s a challenge with interesting recipes for preparing something special.
From the series: mon cours de cuisine. I had this book when I was in France, i quite like this series and bought a few books. A few very good recipes to try in that book and techniques that can always be useful.
I think I got this book from my boyfriend actually but I can’t just remember anymore. Especially since he always complains that my dishes have too many spices, or maybe that was his point actually, to learn how to use the spices well.
